Mobile HVAC and Refrigeration Service Technician - Bristol and Surrounding Areas Full-time | Permanent
Based in Bristol, this permanent role sees you travel to client sites across the surrounding region, servicing and maintaining critical cooling infrastructure. As a Mobile HVAC and Refrigeration Service Technician, you will diagnose faults on water chillers, AC units, and ventilation systems, including DX, split, and VRV/VRF equipment. Hands-on work spans scheduled maintenance, reactive repairs, and commissioning, utilising expertise with leading manufacturers. With a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, this full-time position requires strong fault-finding skills and a clean driving licence. You will complete accurate service records and uphold high safety standards. This is a field-based career with a global facilities management provider, offering a stable workload across commercial premises.
What you''ll be doing:
- Servicing, maintaining, and commissioning Water Chillers, AC, and HVAC systems across multiple customer sites
- Diagnosing faults and repairing Chillers, DX, Split, VRV/VRF, AHUs, and ventilation equipment
- Working with leading manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Hitachi, and Mitsubishi Electric
- Completing clear documentation and offering proactive improvement suggestions
- Operating safely at all times, aligned with a Zero Harm culture
What you''ll bring:
- NVQ Level 2 in HVAC (Level 3 desirable)
- F-Gas 2079 Cat 1 certification
- Proven experience as an HVAC or Chiller Service Engineer
- Strong electrical, controls, and diagnostic skills
- Ability to interpret schematics, piping diagrams, and technical data
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally
