BMS Commissioning Engineer
Location: Bristol
Contract: Initial 9 Months
Rate: £52 - 55 Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities
- Commission Schneider Electric BMS systems on customer sites
- Configure and commission controllers, field devices and BMS networks
- Modify controller software using Function Block Editor
- Configure BMS graphics and operator interfaces
- Integrate third-party systems including HVAC, lighting and metering
- Carry out testing, fault finding and system validation
- Complete commissioning reports and documentation
- Support project teams during installation and client handover
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer
- Experience commissioning Building Management Systems
- Experience with Schneider Electric platforms (EcoStruxure, Sigma, Vista or Continuum)
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls and building services
- Experience with controllers, field devices and BMS networks
- Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently on site
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus or other BMS communication protocols
- BCIA, CIBSE or relevant BMS qualifications
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare or data centre projects
