Overview
The Maintenance Engineer will join a leading food manufacturer based near Stafford, working at their Bradley site.
This full-time, permanent position offers a salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern of 12-hour day shifts.
The role is suited to a multi-skilled engineer with production and manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Repair and service site machinery
- Carry out preventative maintenance checks to avoid breakdowns
- Order spares, parts, tools, supplies and consumables as required
- Suggest upgrades when old equipment costs too much to keep
- Ensure all work follows health and safety rules
- Maintain up-to-date maintenance logs and record all completed jobs on machinery
Skills and Experience
- Experience as a maintenance engineer within production and manufacturing environments
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- 18th Edition electrical qualification
- Mechanical knowledge of conveyors, bearings, chain drives, sprockets, etc.
- Electrical fault-finding ability
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
