Business Administrator – Part Time (Wolverhampton)
The Business Administrator role in Penn is a part‑time position offering £12.71 to £13 per hour. Working Monday to Thursday from 9am to 2pm and Friday 9am to 1pm, you will provide administrative support across finance, HR, and general operations for a growing organisation.
Responsibilities
- Process sales and purchase invoices
- Manage ledgers and reconcile transactions
- Support month‑end finance activities using Xero
- Manage credit control processes, including customer credit applications, credit insurance records, account monitoring and overdue payment correspondence
- Support improvements to financial processes and maintain accurate business records
- Provide administrative support to Directors and the wider team, including reception duties, visitor management, post handling and office coordination
- Maintain organised filing systems, company records, vehicle documentation and asset registers
- Support HR administration by maintaining confidential employee records and documentation
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective day‑to‑day operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar Business Administrator, Office Administrator or Finance Administration role
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
