As Brand And Marketing Executive – Part Time in Carlisle, you will shape the next chapter of Riverside, a trusted Cumbrian recruitment partner with over 35 years of history.

The Role

We're looking for someone who understands how great marketing builds reputation, strengthens relationships and helps people connect with a business.

You'll help bring the Riverside Recruitment brand to life by creating clear, engaging and consistent marketing that reflects who we are, what we do and the value we provide.

Working closely with the leadership team and wider business, you'll help create marketing that showcases our expertise, celebrates our people and strengthens our relationships with clients, candidates and our local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and delivery of Riverside Recruitment's brand and marketing activity.
  • Creating clear, consistent and engaging messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Developing content that tells our story, highlights our expertise and showcases the people behind the business.
  • Writing blogs, articles, case studies and thought leadership content.
  • Creating engaging content for Linked In, our website, email campaigns and other digital platforms.
  • Supporting client and candidate marketing campaigns.
  • Capturing stories, photography and video content that brings our brand to life.
  • Ensuring our brand identity remains consistent across all communications and materials.
  • Supporting website development and campaign development.
  • Reviewing marketing performance and identifying opportunities to improve engagement and reach.

About You

  • Understand the importance of brand, reputation and consistent communication.
  • Be a confident writer who can create engaging and authentic content.
  • Have experience managing business marketing activity and digital channels.
  • Be able to turn ideas and conversations into compelling stories.
  • Feel comfortable using tools such as Canva and other creative platforms.
  • Have an understanding of websites, SEO, digital marketing and AI.
  • Enjoy creating photography and video content.
  • Be organized, proactive and able to work independently.
