The Operations Team Member role in Erdington, Birmingham, offers full-time employment at £13.10 per hour. Working Sunday to Thursday, your schedule alternates between 06:00-14:00 and 15:00-23:00. You will be based at a modern Central Logistics Centre, handling the accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of pharmaceutical items. This position demands strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards within an automated setting. Your efforts will directly support the delivery of essential healthcare products to customers nationwide. Proficiency in warehouse processes and reliability are key attributes for this multi-skilled position, where precision is crucial for maintaining supply chain integrity.

We are looking for motivated and reliable Operations Team Members to join our state-of-the-art Central Logistics Centre in Birmingham. This is a multi-skilled warehouse role where you'll play a vital part in ensuring healthcare and pharmaceutical products are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. Working within a highly automated environment, you’ll support the delivery of essential medicines and healthcare products to customers across the UK. Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders using warehouse management systems and automated technology.
  • Load and unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment.
  • Receive, store and move stock within the warehouse while maintaining product quality and compliance standards.
  • Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to process stock movements.
  • Ensure stock rotation procedures are followed.
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment where trained and authorised.
  • Support warehouse productivity targets and KPIs.
  • Identify and report operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Essential Skills & Experience

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of automated warehouse technologies.
  • FLT, Reach Truck, Counterbalance or PPT licences, preferably.
  • Understanding of inventory control and stock management processes.
