Overview

As an Inventory Team Member in Erdington, you will join a pharmaceutical logistics operation handling the receipt and processing of healthcare deliveries.

The role requires accuracy, reliability, and a methodical approach to maintain precise stock records and ensure proper storage per regulatory standards.

Location & Hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Check deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Inspect products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Accurately book stock into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to process goods.
  • Label and store products in the correct warehouse locations.
  • Ensure products are stored under the correct environmental conditions.
  • Follow stock rotation procedures.
  • Report any damaged, missing, or non‑conforming goods to the appropriate team.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory checks when required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GDP guidelines, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to perform manual handling duties, including lifting and moving stock.
