The predicted salary is between 22 - 22 £ per hour.

The Biomedical Engineer position, based in London (W2) and offered through Manpower UK, is a six-month contract paying up to £22 per hour via PAYE.

Working 37.5 hours weekly on site, you will deliver preventive and corrective maintenance across diverse medical devices, strictly following manufacturer specifications.

  • Supporting contractual KPIs alongside team leaders.
  • Maintaining precise service logs within a CMMS.
  • Liaising with clinical staff to resolve equipment issues promptly.
  • Assisting broader engineering objectives.
  • Upholding rigorous health and safety standards.
  • Overseeing spare parts inventory.
  • Traveling to other healthcare sites as needed to support service delivery.
  • Location and Compensation

Biomedical Engineer Location: London, W2 Postcode (on site) Pay: £22 per hour PAYE Duration of contract: 6 months Weekly hours: 37.5

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as a Biomedical Engineer in a hospital/ healthcare environment.
  • Experience working in accordance to ISO13485 (Medical Devices).
  • Overview of position

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

Support contractual KPIs by collaborating with team leaders and account managers.

Maintain accurate service records and complete all administrative tasks using relevant CMMS tool.

Communicate effectively with hospital staff and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and follow-up.

Assist the wider engineering team in achieving local and global service goals.

Maintain safe working practices and comply with local Health andamp; Safety regulations.

Manage spare parts inventory and ensure tools/test equipment are maintained to required standards.

Travel to other healthcare sites as needed to support service delivery.
