Our client, a reputable organisation in the manufacturing sector in Bicester, Oxfordshire is seeking a dedicated QHSE Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of their Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the company's quality management system (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
- Conduct internal audits, manage external audits, and address non-conformities effectively.
- Analyse quality data to develop improvement plans that boost product and service standards.
- Collaborate with operational teams to standardise processes and keep documentation up to date.
- Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation, including risk assessments, safe systems of work, and safety procedures.
- Lead workplace inspections, incident investigations, and manage safety reporting and KPIs.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, toolbox talks, and safety initiatives.
- Maintain and develop the environmental management system (ISO 14001 or equivalent).
- Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact, focusing on resource efficiency and sustainability.
- What you’ll bring
- A degree or equivalent qualification, with additional qualifications in Quality or HSE being advantageous.
