Based in Dudley, this full-time, temporary Bench Joiner position offers Β£13.00 to Β£15.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Working Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm, you will craft bespoke timber products and components for the furniture manufacturing sector.

Your responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing pieces to a high standard. Proficiency with woodworking machinery and hand tools is essential, alongside a meticulous eye for detail.

We are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our clients busy and growing team within the furniture manufacturing industry.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled Bench Joiner who takes pride in producing high-quality work and is confident working from drawings and specifications.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality bespoke timber products and components, working from drawings through to finished pieces.

Your duties will include:

  • Manufacturing bespoke joinery and timber components
  • Working from technical drawings and specifications
  • Measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing timber products
  • Using a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality
  • Checking dimensions and finished products for accuracy
  • Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised workshop
  • Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Suitable candidates will have:

  • Previous professional experience as a Bench Joiner
  • Background in joinery, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or a similar industry
  • Good knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
  • The ability to read and work from drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A good understanding of workshop health and safety
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude
  • Pride in producing quality workmanship
