The working pattern is a rotating shift system covering 8 to 12-hour periods, including early, late, and night slots. LOCATION: Nottingham, Boots Site

PAY: Β£13.77/hr, potential to earn extra once fully skilled

HOURS: 8 to 12 hr shift rotation (early, lates, nights or 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am)

DURATION: Ongoing, strong temp-perm and long term opportunities

What You Will Be Doing:

The Warehouse Operator is involved in the receipt, dispatch and distribution of material and product within the factory.

  • Use appropriate material handling equipment to move product and materials from and to designated locations to support bulk activities in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Build pallets and orders as directed to support successful order fulfilment.
  • Safe handling and storage of materials.
  • Stock process - handles delivery and sorting
  • Work accurately to control warehouse inventory at acceptable levels.
  • Analyse material movements to locate parts, serial number, and quantity change.
  • Generate movement documentation.
  • Perform inventory count, stock material in the appropriate locations.
  • Efficiently load/unload trucks and transports with a forklift.
  • Assist the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse and logistics area.
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality.
  • Conduct inspection of logistic equipment including FLTs, pallet inverters, racking, etc

What You Will Bring

  • Valid FLT certificate (Counterbalance / Reach and/orBendi - in-house accepted) AND/OR relevant warehouse experience. For candidates with no FLT licence a training repayment agreement can be arranged;
  • At least a basic digital literacy to operate computer inventory systems; Good levels of literacy and numeracy; Excellent attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills; Focus on quality, hygiene, following instructions and continuous improvement mindset;
