As a Stores / Warehouse Operative with FLT based in Nottingham, you will join our client’s modern, automated Beeston site on a permanent contract.
Earning up to £13.77 per hour, you will handle the receipt, dispatch, and distribution of materials and finished products across the factory, operate material handling equipment, build pallets and orders, and ensure safe storage practices.
The role follows an 8‑hour rotation or a mix of 12‑hour day and night shifts.

What You Will Be Doing
- Use appropriate material handling equipment to move product and materials from and to designated locations to support bulk activities efficiently and safely.
- Build pallets and orders as directed to support successful order fulfilment.
- Safe handling and storage of materials.
- Process stock – handle delivery and sorting.
- Operate accurately to control warehouse inventory at acceptable levels.
- Analyse material movements to locate parts, serial numbers, and quantity changes.
- Generate movement documentation.
- Perform inventory counts and allocate stock to the appropriate locations.
- Efficiently load and unload trucks and transports with a forklift.
- Assist with daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse and logistics area.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality.
- Conduct inspections of logistic equipment including FLTs, pallet inverters, racking, etc.
What You Will Bring
- Valid FLT certificate (Counterbalance / Reach and/or Bendi – in‑house accepted) and relevant experience.
- Basic digital literacy to operate computer inventory systems.
- Good levels of literacy and numeracy.
- Excellent attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills.
- Focus on quality, hygiene, following instructions and a continuous improvement mindset.
