Overview
This full‑time, interim role as a Housing Officer in Camborne pays £39,923 per annum (£20.75 per hour). You will manage a neighbourhood patch across North Cornwall, acting as the primary contact for residents and delivering a comprehensive housing management service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of tenancies and provide advice and support to residents.
- Conduct tenancy sign‑ups, property viewings and ensure compliance with tenancy agreements.
- Investigate and manage tenancy breaches, anti‑social behaviour and safeguarding concerns.
- Respond to customer enquiries, requests and permissions in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain high estate standards and monitor service contracts to ensure value for money.
- Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to support customers and communities.
- Deliver resident engagement activities and community initiatives to promote sustainable neighbourhoods.
- Support housing management activities linked to new developments where required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within social housing, including tenancy, estate and housing management.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- A customer‑focused approach with a passion for delivering high‑quality services.
- The ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and confidently.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
