Mobile HVAC Engineer – Basingstoke – 45K & D2D

Overview

Mobile HVAC Engineer – Basingstoke, 45K & D2D role involving servicing, maintaining, and attending breakdowns across a busy retail portfolio.

Based in Basingstoke, this full-time position follows a Monday-to-Friday, 40-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and breakdown repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including Comfort DX air conditioning units, VRVs, VRFs, splits, multi-split systems and AHUs.
• Travel to client sites within the South Coast and Hampshire area; manage own schedule and provide reliable service across multiple sites.
• Diagnose faults, perform fault finding and carry out fault rectification; conduct preventative maintenance where applicable.
• Adhere to health and safety and quality standards; maintain accurate service records and report on-site issues.

Requirements (Qualifications)

• Qualified HVAC engineer with experience in commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time across a busy retail portfolio.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Door-to-door travel pay; overtime paid at 1.5x Mon-Sat and 2x Sundays/Bank holidays; D2D as appropriate.
• 1 in 12 call out; standby pay; company van and fuel card (private use allowed).
• 25 days holidays plus 8 bank holidays; pension scheme; sick pay; uniform and PPE; mobile phone or allowance; PDA; company processes and PPE.
