Join a world-renowned aerospace and defence organisation as a Mechanical Fitter in Barrow on an initial 12 month contract. This advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Mechanical Fitter to add to their talented, hardworking team. Striving for innovation and creativity, you can ensure no two days will be the same.

This role will be offering £25.94 Umbrella per hour inside IR35. Non-local rates are also open with an additional travel allowance.

  • Installation of mechanical systems, components and equipment on vessels.
  • Follow the relevant instructions, drawings and any other Quality Standards/specifications.
  • Use the appropriate methods and techniques to manufacture and install mechanical systems and ancillary equipment.
  • Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required Quality Standards/specification.

Requirements:

  • Served and Approved Apprenticeship (In relevant trade)
  • NVQ Level 3 Equivalent Qualification (In relevant subject)
