Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Mechanical Fitter to add to their talented, hardworking team in Barrow on an initial 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity, you can ensure no two days will be the same.

This role will be offering £25.94 Umbrella per hour inside IR35. Non-local rates are also open with an additional travel allowance.

  • Installation of mechanical systems, components and equipment on vessels.
  • Follow the relevant instructions, drawings and any other Quality Standards/specifications.
  • Use the appropriate methods and techniques to manufacture and install mechanical systems and ancillary equipment.
  • Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required Quality Standards/specification.

Requirements:

  • Served and Approved Apprenticeship (In relevant trade)
  • NVQ Level 3 Equivalent Qualification (In relevant subject)
