A full-time Production Operative / Machine Operator position is available in Banbury with a well-established manufacturer. This permanent, hands-on role supports customer orders through cutting, moulding, sanding, and spraying stages. Duties also include sorting MDF boards, placing items onto racks, and packaging labelled orders for dispatch. You will need your own transport due to limited public transport links.

Pay ranges from £12.71 to £13.75 per hour, depending on experience. The work suits someone comfortable with varied manual tasks and following production schedules. Prior experience in a similar environment is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.

Production Operative / Machine Operator Manpower Recruitment are working with an established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Banbury to recruit a full time Production Operative / Machine Operator. This is a long term, hands on role supporting the manufacture of customer orders at various stages of the production process. Due to the location and limited public transport, you will need access to your own transport (car or motorcycle).

The Pay will be £12.71-£13.75 (Depending on Experience)

The role

  • Assisting with cutting, moulding, sanding and spraying materials for customer orders
  • Sorting and placing MDF boards or items onto tables and racks
  • Packaging and labelling orders for delivery or collection in line with the production schedule

You will work both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy and maintaining business performance and quality standards. The role involves handling materials and finished product, so a moderate level of fitness is required to carry out tasks comfortably and safely.
