Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive manufacturer for Automotive Assembly Operatives to join their successful production team in Birmingham. - Saturday: 19:00 β 07:00
- Sunday: 18:00 β 06:00

The Role
As an Automotive Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality automotive components while working to strict production and quality standards. You\'ll be part of a fast-paced manufacturing team where attention to detail, reliability and teamwork are essential. Your duties will include:
- Assembling automotive components using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Following work instructions and basic engineering drawings.
- Operating production machinery and assembly equipment.
- Performing quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
- Using measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification.
- Meeting production targets whilst maintaining excellent quality standards.
- Working safely within a busy automotive manufacturing environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within an automotive assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and assembly equipment.
- The ability to work accurately to production targets.
- A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
- Experience operating press machines, CNC equipment or other manufacturing machinery would be advantageous but is not essential.
