An Assembler position is available in Wall Heath, offered through Pertemps Dudley Industrial. This full-time role follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4:00pm, paying £14.71 per hour. The contract begins on a temporary basis with a clear path to permanent employment for successful candidates.

Daily duties involve assembling components according to technical specifications, using hand tools, and conducting quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards. As a Production Assembler, you will play an important role in the assembly and manufacture of products, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Assembling products accurately and efficiently in line with customer specifications and production targets
  • Using a range of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Reading and following work instructions, drawings, and production guidelines where required
  • Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards
  • Identifying and reporting any faults, defects, or issues during the assembly process
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Following all company policies, procedures, and strict health and safety regulations
  • Completing manual handling tasks as required
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team production goals

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment. You will be a reliable and motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to producing high-quality work. You will have:

  • Previous experience as a Production Assembler, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • The ability to follow instructions and work to production requirements
  • A willingness to learn new skills and develop within the business
