Job Overview

The EUC Technical Lead (DV Cleared) will provide technical leadership across the end‑user technology estate in Taunton, acting as the subject matter expert for EUC services.

This full‑time contract pays £700‑£740 per day and involves driving technical excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring secure, reliable user solutions that enhance business productivity.

Applicants must be British citizens and a DV Clearance is strongly preferred due to onboarding timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft365, and associated EUC technologies.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical incidents and service requests.
  • Lead the evaluation, design, and implementation of new EUC technologies and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Mentor and support technical team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver integrated, secure, and user‑focused solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong technical expertise in End User Computing, including Windows, Microsoft365, Intune, SCCM/MECM, networking, remote access, and file sharing technologies.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and directing the delivery of complex technical work.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with experience managing escalated incidents.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL principles, service management processes, and industry best practices.
  • Experience designing and implementing technical solutions and supporting project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security principles, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
