This Architectural Technician position in Bristol offers a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 annually, depending on experience, on a full-time basis. The role sits between architecture and building surveying, requiring strong technical design, detailing and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting a Senior Architectural Technologist with project delivery across a varied portfolio.
  • Producing technical drawings and detailed design information.
  • Working predominantly on refurbishment and improvement projects.
  • Developing practical design solutions around existing buildings.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
  • Attending site visits, meetings and inspections.
  • Undertaking measured surveys where required.
  • Working across projects from design through to technical delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous UK practice experience essential.
  • Strong technical and detailing ability.
  • Revit experience preferred.
  • Experience within refurbishment would be beneficial but isn't essential.
  • Comfortable working with existing buildings and technical constraints.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently whilst also supporting the wider team.
