Site Manager - Utility-Scale Solar
Location: Dundee / Site Based
Salary: Β£60,000-Β£65,000
Employment: Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a major utility-scale solar project in the Dundee area.
You will take day-to-day responsibility for site delivery, working closely with subcontractors and the wider project team to ensure construction progresses safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements.
Responsibilities include:

Manage daily construction activity across the solar farm

Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors and site resources

Monitor programme, productivity and quality

Ensure works are completed safely and to specification

Carry out site inspections and resolve delivery issues

Coordinate civil, mechanical and electrical activities

Manage site documentation and progress reporting

Support commissioning, defect close-out and handover
-
Maintain strong relationships across the project team
Essential experience:
-
Recent utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV experience

Proven site management experience on major construction projects

Strong subcontractor coordination experience
-
Strong understanding of HSE and construction site standards
-
Civil, electrical or mechanical construction/engineering background
-
UK driving licence
Qualifications / certifications:
-
SMSTS
-
Black CSCS or Black ECS Card
-
3-day First Aid certification
-
NVQ Level 6+ in Construction Management or relevant Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification preferred
Candidates with significant relevant solar experience who are actively progressing towards NVQ Level 6 / Black Card may also be considered.
TWC / Temporary Works Coordinator experience or qualification would be advantageous.
Experience within civils, roads, foundations, drainage or structural packages would be particularly useful.
This is a permanent position, so candidates should be comfortable travelling to future UK project locations when required.
