We are looking for experienced Sheet Metal Workers to carry out fabrication, assembly, and installation activities within a heavy engineering environment, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from fabrication and installation drawings.
  • Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and fitting activities using a range of hand tools and techniques.
  • Follow manufacturing processes and maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to resolve practical production issues.
  • Maintain quality standards and work within specified tolerances.
  • Support the development of apprentices by sharing trade knowledge and best practices.
  • Adapt to evolving technologies, drawings, and industry work practices.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and associated trade practices.
  • Understanding of quality standards and work tolerances.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication and installation drawings.
