Position: 7.5t Driver - Multi-Drop Deliveries
Location: New Southgate (N11), North London
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 per annum
Overview
A permanent driving role delivering building materials across North West London (up to Watford), West and East London. The position requires up to ten drops per day with flexible delivery schedules and an early finish at 3:30pm.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 06:30 – 15:30 (1‑hour break)
- Saturdays: 1 shift every 2‑3 weeks, 07:00 – 12:00
Responsibilities
- Operate 7.5T vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling or palletised procedures (including pump trucks).
- Deliver items to multiple sites per day, providing courteous customer service at each drop.
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with digital tachograph requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Cat C1 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Experience with multi‑drop deliveries and/or builder’s merchant routes (6 months+ preferred).
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
