Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
- Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
- Good knowledge of York and surrounding areas.
- Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
- You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.
As a 7.5 Tonne delivery driver, you’re expected to securely manage all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
