Excellent communication skills are key.

About The Role:

You’ll find and license newsworthy and viral content from across the world, particularly in the UK and US, working closely with our experienced editors.

Every day is different — one minute you might be tracking down a TikTok creator with a viral prank, and the next you’re verifying a breaking story or writing copy for social media.

You Will:

  • Keep your finger on the pulse of social media trends and emerging platforms
  • Constantly search for viral videos, trending stories and under-the-radar content that fits Jam Press’s tone and style
  • Pitch and chase stories daily across a wide range of topics
  • Verify information, contact and interview case studies and license content
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with content creators and contributors
  • Work with editors to ensure our stories are accurate, engaging, and fast to publish
  • Contribute ideas for improving how we find and present content

  • A natural curiosity about people and stories
  • Self-motivation, multitasking ability and a proactive mindset
  • Basic media law knowledge (a plus, not a must)

You don’t need newsroom experience, we\’ll provide full training. What we care about is your instinct for viral content, your drive to learn and your love of storytelling.

If you’re competitive, creative and excited by the idea of seeing the stories you discover make headlines around the world — we want to hear from you.

If you\’re interested in applying, please send your CV, any relevant social media handles and
