- 08.00am to 20.00pm (12 hour day)

About the Complex Care Assistant Role:
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistants to support a male client with a C6/6 spinal injury in his own home in Tetbury, Gloucestershire (GL8) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care as part of a specialist care team, helping the client maintain his independence and quality of life. For this position you must hold a full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred care and support to an individual living with a C5/C6 spinal injury and tetraplegia.
- Support with personal care, continence care, stoma care, and suprapubic catheter management.
- Monitor and respond to health needs including autonomic dysreflexia, spasms, low blood pressure, and dizziness.
- Support with safe moving, handling, positioning, and maintaining comfort.
- Assist with respiratory needs, including choking risk awareness and reduced cough ability.
- Support with temperature regulation and recognising signs of overheating.
- Complete care records and report any changes in health or wellbeing.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and quality of life.
Experience Required:
Experience in complex care, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, or similar care environments is desirable. Full training and support will be provided. This role would suit caring individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional care and building positive, professional relationships with those they support. You will work as part of a support package, ensuring safe, consistent, and high-quality care at all times.

Complex Care Assistant Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
