Location: Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent

Shifts Available: 08.00am to 20.00pm (12 hour day), 20.00pm to 08.00am (12 hour night)

About the Complex Care Assistant Role:

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistants to support a female client with a C2 spinal injury in her own home in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care as part of a specialist care team, helping the client maintain her independence and quality of life. The client has complex clinical needs, and while previous experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is desirable, full clinical training will be provided. For this position you must hold a full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with tracheostomy and ventilator care
  • Suctioning when required
  • Medication administration and support
  • Personal care and continence care
  • Moving and handling using specialist equipment
  • Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
  • Providing emotional support and helping to manage anxiety
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times

This role would suit caring individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional care and building positive, professional relationships with those they support. You will work as part of a support package, ensuring safe, consistent, and high-quality care at all times.

Complex Care Assistant Requirements:
