About the role As a Duty Manager, you'll play a hands‑on leadership role in ensuring the smooth running of our busy late‑night bar. You'll oversee the team on shift, manage customer experience, and keep operations running safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment. Key Responsibilities Shift Leadership - Take responsibility for the bar and floor team during your shift, ensuring excellent service, a lively atmosphere, and smooth operations into the early hours. Customer Experience - Lead by example on the floor, engaging with guests, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment. Team Management - Motivate, brief, and support the team throughout the shift, keeping morale high and performance consistent. Operational Control - Oversee tills, stock levels, and compliance with licensing laws and safety procedures. Problem Solving - Respond calmly and effectively to unexpected challenges, from staffing gaps to customer incidents.
