Job Title: Technical Designer

Location: London (1 day WFH)

Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 (DOE)

Full Time | Perm (1 day work from home)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Designer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a highly proficient designer with expertise in Revit and AutoCAD, coupled with a strong background in commercial workplace projects. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure design feasibility.
• Develop space planning layouts, elevations, and joinery details.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building regulations and standards.
• Conduct site visits to oversee implementation and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with the wider design team to maintain design intent from concept through to completion.
• Review and coordinate MEP drawings, ensuring integration with architectural plans.
• Support the tendering process by preparing drawing packages and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Commercial workplace design and build environment experience.
• Proficiency in Revit (essential).
• Strong technical detailing skills and knowledge of construction methods.
• Experience with UK building regulations and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities, both internally and externally.
