Interior Technician

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)

Are you a detail-driven Technical Designer with a passion for turning design concepts into reality? We’re looking for a talented individual to join a leading international design practice in their London studio. You’ll be part of a collaborative, creative team delivering high-quality workplace and interior environments for global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for interior fit-out projects.
• Translate design intent into buildable solutions and ensure compliance with UK regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and external consultants to resolve technical challenges.
• Conduct site visits and support construction phases with snagging and quality checks.
• Maintain drawing standards and support ongoing improvements to technical delivery processes.

About You:

• 3–5 years’ experience as an Technical Designer or similar role within interior architecture or design.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (experience with SketchUp, Enscape, or BIM workflows a plus).
• Excellent understanding of detailing, materials, joinery, and construction methods.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, BS/EN standards, and best practice in health & safety.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
• Background in commercial workplace, hospitality, or mixed-use interiors preferred.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related technical discipline.
