We are looking for a highly accomplished Technical Designers to join our clients. This role requires people with a strong technical skillset, who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are experienced in delivering high-quality drawings for commercial interior projects. The ideal candidate will be confident in collaborating with designers, project teams, and external consultants while ensuring all technical aspects align with UK building regulations and planning requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Creative Designers and Directors to produce detailed technical drawings and documentation to support the construction and project delivery teams.
- Ensure all designs comply with UK building regulations, planning applications, and landlord requirements.
- Liaise with planning officers, contributing to planning applications, pre-commencement conditions, and other regulatory procedures.
- Coordinate pre-start plans, organise surveys, and manage reports with external consultants.
- Attend briefing meetings, site visits, and project meetings as required.
- Prepare and present design proposals using AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide expert advice on materials, specifications, and construction processes to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and clients.
- Act as the technical authority within the team, offering guidance and expertise on design proposals.
