We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Interior Technician. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for workplace, data centres and commercial interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed construction and interior drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Translate design concepts into technical documents in compliance with building codes, regulations, and project standards.
  • Work closely with architects and interior designers to develop layouts, sections, and joinery details.
  • Assist in preparing schedules, finishes, and FF&E documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
  • Participate in site visits and surveys to support accurate documentation and project delivery.
  • Ensure quality control across all technical drawings and interior details.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience working in a similar role, preferably with a focus on interiors.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit a must.
  • Adobe Creative Suite. SketchUp or 3D rendering tools are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of interior detailing, materials, and construction methods.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with workplace, commercial interior projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and material sourcing.
  • Experience with BIM workflows and documentation.
