A leading international workplace and interior design consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee high-value European projects, typically ranging from £5–10m per annum. You will work closely with a dedicated European Preconstruction team to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. This is a client-facing role requiring strong experience managing complex projects across multiple European markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage European projects from pre-construction to completion.
- Collaborate with the European Preconstruction team on cost planning, procurement, and design coordination.
- Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong client relationships.
- Coordinate international consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and health & safety standards.
- Maintain project budgets, schedules, and risk registers, reporting to senior management.
- Mentor and guide junior project staff, supporting knowledge-sharing within the team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8–10 years' experience managing large-scale commercial interior or workplace projects in Europe.
- Proven experience in EU markets such as Spain, Italy, Germany, Turkey, or similar.
- Strong project management skills including financial control, scheduling, and team coordination.
- Excellent client-facing skills and experience working with international clients.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Europe.
