The Opportunity
We are representing one of the world's most influential and fastest-growing lifestyle hospitality brands. Known for creating "places that tell stories," our client is currently undergoing a period of rapid global expansion. We are seeking a high-calibre, autonomous Freelance FF&E Specialist to join their award-winning design team for a critical four-month project. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of hospitality design, contributing to iconic global portfolios during a high-velocity growth phase.
The Role
You will be responsible for driving the FF&E narrative for high-profile Public Area packages. This is not a "support" role; we need a seasoned professional who can take ownership of the design process—from initial "look and feel" through to technical drawing and procurement-ready packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Vision: Curating sophisticated imagery, mood boards, and material palettes that align with the brand's unique lifestyle aesthetic.
- Package Delivery: Independently managing and delivering comprehensive FF&E packages for Public Areas.
- Technical Design: Drafting medium-complexity joinery drawings and developing designs within SketchUp.
- Technical Documentation: Producing precise, professional drawing packages in AutoCAD.
- Refurbishment Focus: Applying expertise in ID fit-outs to complex refurbishment projects where agility and creative problem-solving are paramount.
The Profile
We are looking for a "unicorn" specialist who combines visionary creative flair with technical discipline.
- Experience: A deep-rooted background in high-end hospitality FF&E. You must have a portfolio that showcases completed Public Area projects.
- Technical Mastery: High proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign is non‑negotiable.
- Supplier Intel: An extensive, current knowledge of global materials and a robust network of suppliers.
- Adaptability: The ability to hit the ground running on Jan 5th. You thrive in fast‑paced environments and can manage the nuances of refurbishment projects with ease.
- Communication: Ability to articulate design intent clearly and work collaboratively within a high‑performing studio culture.
Why Apply
- Prestige: Work with a globally sought‑after design powerhouse at the peak of their expansion.
- Impact: Take ownership of public‑facing spaces in high‑visibility lifestyle hotels.
- Future Growth: While this is an initial 4‑month contract, the scale of our client's global pipeline often leads to extended opportunities for the right talent.
How to Apply
Things are moving fast. If you are a specialist who meets all the above criteria and is available immediately, please submit your CV and a PDF Portfolio (or link) highlighting your hospitality Public Area experience and technical FF&E packages.
