We are seeking an accomplished and highly creative Senior Graphic Designer to join our client’s growing team in London. This is a senior-level role suited to an experienced design professional who combines exceptional creative ability with proven team leadership and people management experience.

Working closely with the Pre-construction Manager, Bid Manager, and Digital & Content Manager, you will take ownership of the visual output across all pitches, tenders, proposals, and broader brand collateral. You will be responsible for elevating the quality and consistency of all creative materials while leading and mentoring junior design resources within the team. This role requires a strategic thinker with the confidence to shape and evolve the company’s creative direction, ensuring all visual communications are innovative, commercially impactful, and aligned with the company’s market-leading brand position.

You will play a key role in developing best practice processes, managing design workflows, allocating work across the team, and driving high standards across all output. Fresh ideas, new technologies, and innovative approaches to graphic storytelling are highly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creative direction for all bids, tenders, pitches, and proposal documentation.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior graphic design team members, ensuring high standards and continuous professional growth.
  • Oversee workload planning and allocation within the design team to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across pre-construction, bid management, digital content, and business development teams.
  • Produce and oversee the creation of high-quality visual collateral using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ensure all documentation and digital content is innovative, visually compelling, and consistently on-brand.
  • Interpret complex project briefs and translate them into visually engaging and commercially persuasive presentations.
  • Take ownership of project timelines, proactively managing deadlines and coordinating input from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continually enhance the creative direction and visual identity of all client-facing collateral.
  • Maintain meticulous quality control, including proofreading and final review prior to submission.
  • Work closely with the Digital & Content Manager to elevate online creative output, including website and social media assets.
  • Lead the ongoing development and refresh of case studies, team biographies, credentials packs, and standard marketing collateral.
  • Manage relationships with external print and production suppliers to ensure premium-quality presentation materials.
  • Support the business development team with standout campaign and client engagement materials.
  • Take strategic ownership of the company’s visual identity and brand standards.
  • Explore and implement new creative solutions including motion graphics, animation, video, interactive PDFs, SketchUp visuals, and digital presentation tools.
  • Contribute to the wider design team’s learning, CPD, and creative best practice initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a Senior Graphic Designer role, ideally within interiors, architecture, construction, design & build, or fit-out sectors.
  • Demonstrable team management and leadership experience, including mentoring or managing junior designers.
  • Strong experience delivering high-quality pitch, bid, and presentation documentation under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent creative and conceptual design skills with a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects and managing design workflows across a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Exceptional written English and strong proofreading capability.
  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of how design supports new business success.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in design standards and processes.
  • Confident, articulate, and highly collaborative personality.
