You will support senior team members in delivering major masterplanning work, gaining hands‑on experience across GIS mapping, CAD production, spatial analysis, and design coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in GIS and CAD workflows for masterplanning projects, ensuring accurate data preparation and mapping.
  • Support the creation of spatial databases, baseline mapping, and graphic visualisations.
  • Contribute to site analysis, land use studies, and infrastructure mapping using GIS tools.
  • Help translate conceptual design ideas into clear CAD drawings and layout plans.
  • Work closely with urban designers, planners, architects, and engineers as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Support the integration of GIS outputs into reports, diagrams, presentations, and client deliverables.
  • Maintain organised drawing files and follow established project standards.
  • Carry out research into regional context, site constraints, opportunities, and development patterns.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of GIS software (ArcGIS or QGIS) and CAD tools (AutoCAD).
  • Awareness of spatial analysis, mapping techniques, and geospatial data handling.

  • Good communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Preferred (Not Essential)

  • Experience or university project work related to large-scale masterplanning or international development.
  • Familiarity with Middle East planning context or interest in global development.
  • Exposure to 3D modelling (Rhino, SketchUp, Revit) or BIM workflows.
