Senior Interior Designer
Residential Design Studio – London
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
A highly regarded, small bespoke residential design studio based in London is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join its close-knit team.
The studio specialises in thoughtfully crafted, high-end private homes across London and the UK. Known for its refined aesthetic, meticulous detailing, and highly personalised client service, the practice delivers beautifully considered interiors that balance creativity with technical excellence. Every project is approached with care, discretion, and a deep commitment to quality.
This is a key role within a small team, offering genuine responsibility and involvement across all stages of the design process.
The Role
We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of five years’ experience in high-end residential design. The ideal candidate will be confident managing projects from concept through to completion, highly organised, and passionate about delivering exceptional bespoke interiors.
You will play a central role in both the creative and technical delivery of projects, working closely with directors, clients, consultants, and specialist suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading projects across all RIBA stages, from initial concept design through to final installation.
- Developing and presenting strong creative concepts, mood boards, and detailed design presentations.
- Producing technical drawing packages and detailed joinery drawings in AutoCAD.
- Specifying materials, finishes, sanitaryware, lighting, and bespoke furniture.
- Managing FF&E schedules, budgets, procurement, and supplier coordination.
- Liaising with architects, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attending site meetings and overseeing installations to ensure design integrity.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, craftspeople, and specialist suppliers.

- Strong technical understanding and confidence producing detailed drawing packages.

Software Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
- SketchUp
- Experience with 3D visualisation software (e.g. 3DS Max, V-Ray, or similar) would be advantageous
Experience Required
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as an Interior Designer or Interior Architect.
- Proven experience delivering luxury private residential projects in the UK.
- Demonstrable involvement in projects from concept through to on-site completion.
