We are looking for a talented and driven Graphic Designer with a few years of experience to join our client's team, working primarily with the Pre‑construction Manager and Bid Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating top‑notch collateral for pitches and proposals. This position is instrumental in supporting our client's pitch and tender teams and collaborating closely with the Digital and Content Manager to ensure our client's branding and collateral consistently captivate and maintain the highest standards. The role involves spearheading the creation of an inspirational graphic design strategy in line with the company's growth objectives and market positioning. Fresh ideas, new software tools, alternative approaches, and a strong passion for creativity are highly encouraged in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Help with creative direction and strategy for our client's bid, tender, and pitch processes
- Capacity to get involved with other creative avenues, i.e., branding, digital illustrating, interest in interiors etc.
- Creating high-quality collateral using Adobe Suite
- Ensuring all documentation and digital content is innovative, on‑brand, and sets a market‑leading standard
- Interpreting project briefs to ensure that all pitch and tender documents adequately address client requirements and objectives
- Proactively establishing deadlines and coordinating input from both internal and external teams
- Continually evolving and enhancing the creative direction of our client's collateral
- Conducting meticulous proofreading to ensure quality and accuracy before submission
- Collaborating closely with the Digital and Content Manager to improve the quality of online graphics, particularly on social media
- Ensuring that the Bid Manager and Digital and Content Manager regularly update case studies, team bios, and other standard content
- Cultivating strong relationships with external print providers to guarantee consistently high‑quality printing, imaging, and presentation materials
- Working closely with the business development team to create exceptional materials supporting their initiatives
- Help take ownership of our client's visual identity
- Exploring opportunities for enhancements, such as SketchUp models, video/animation, XD, interactive PDFs, and more
- Collaborating with the broader design team on continuing professional development (CPD) activities
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction, architecture, or fit‑out sector is advantageous
- Ideally, a proven track record of delivering high‑quality documentation and page layouts under tight deadlines
- Strong passion for applying creative skills to secure new business
- A team player who takes ownership and actively seeks continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Exceptional written English and an adept eye for proofreading
- A strong desire to stay updated on competitor activities and uphold our client's graphic identity
- A confident, knowledgeable, and articulate personality with effective collaboration skills
