Location: Manchester (Onsite), with access to a nearby office
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary: £28k-35k p.a. (pro rata), dependent on experience

Join Our Client on a Landmark Project
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to support a major fit-out project in Manchester. This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working closely with site teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.
You’ll act as a vital link between project managers, site staff, and consultants—keeping information flowing, documentation in order, and operations on track from mobilisation to project handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document & Information Management
- Administer the cloud-based document control system, managing user access and file structure.
- Review and organise project documents to ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide basic training on the system and act as the main point of contact for queries.
- Work alongside the BIM team to maintain document protocols and best practices.
- Keep subcontractor records up to date and manage the pre-qualification tracking process.
- Prepare Health & Safety files and set up documentation at the start of the project.
- Manage signage requirements and coordinate printing needs.
- Maintain project directories and ensure accurate data entry into internal systems.
- Produce weekly progress reports and maintain snagging lists.
- Manage site supplies, IT equipment, document printing and courier bookings.
- Oversee MSITE access, site inductions, and health & safety records.
- Organise meeting rooms, refreshments, and ensure PPE is available and in good condition.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute action points.
- Support the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) process and evidence submission.
- Compile and finalise Health & Safety and Operation & Maintenance manuals.
- Update the incident register and ensure all documentation is archived appropriately.
- Support the site shut-down and exit procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
- At least 1 year’s experience in administration or document control.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- A sharp eye for detail and a solutions-focused mindset.
- A team player who can work independently when needed.
Desirable
- Experience with BIM Level 2 projects and document control.
- Familiarity with PAS1192/ISO19650 naming standards.
- Previous use of cloud-based document management tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
