Commercial Manager | Workplace Design & Build | London
We're currently working with an established and highly regarded workplace design & build business in London that is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Commercial Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands the workplace D&B environment and wants to join a forward-thinking business delivering high-quality, design-led projects for some impressive clients.
The Role
As Commercial Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing the commercial performance of projects from pre-construction through to completion.
You’ll work closely with the Project Management, Design and Construction teams, taking ownership of commercial matters and helping ensure projects are delivered profitably, efficiently and to the highest standard.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor within the workplace design & build sector
- Strong understanding of D&B, fit-out and commercial project delivery
- Experience managing project costs, valuations, variations, subcontractors and final accounts
- Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge
- Ability to work collaboratively with project and design teams
- Confident communicator with both clients and supply chain
- Someone who is commercially astute but also understands the fast-paced nature of workplace projects
