An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small, ambitious, and growing design studio based in West London. This is the perfect role for an Architectural Technical Designer who enjoys working in a close-knit team, taking ownership of projects, and contributing to the growth of a business with an excellent reputation.
Working across a range of high-quality interior architecture and workplace projects, you will play a key role in developing technical packages from concept through to construction, collaborating closely with designers, project managers, and clients. The RoleAs an Architectural Technical Designer, you will:
- Produce detailed technical drawing packages using Revit.
- Develop construction details and technical documentation.
- Coordinate design information with consultants and contractors.
- Assist in ensuring projects comply with UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
- Support projects through RIBA stages from design development to completion.
- Attend project meetings and assist with site coordination when required.
- Work closely with the design team to deliver high-quality, buildable solutions.
We are looking for someone who has:
- 2–5 years' experience in an Architectural Technical Designer or Architectural Technician role.
- Strong proficiency in Revit (essential).
- Experience delivering interior architecture or commercial interiors projects.
- A good understanding of UK construction methods and detailing.
- Excellent technical drawing and coordination skills.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- A proactive attitude and desire to work within a growing business.
Experience working within workplace, commercial, hospitality or high-end interior projects. Architectural experience alongside interiors would be a distinct advantage. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Suite. Experience coordinating with M&E and structural consultants.
