We’re looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join our London team who is keen to grow into an HR Business Partner role over time. This is a broad, hands‑on role spanning various stages of the employee journey, designed to give you increasing exposure to partnering with managers and contributing to people strategy. You’ll work closely with senior HR stakeholders and business leaders, building your commercial understanding and developing your ability to support the business more strategically.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and accurate guidance to employees and managers
- Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance management, promotions, and offboarding
- Partner with managers on day‑to‑day people matters, with support (performance issues, absence, low‑level ER cases)
- Support performance and engagement processes (reviews, feedback cycles, engagement surveys)
- Ensure HR policies are up to date and aligned with UK employment law
- Contribute to HR initiatives & projects (e.g. DEI, learning & development, process improvements)
- Begin to build relationships with stakeholders and support on more strategic people initiatives over time
Requirements
- ~3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment (ideally tech/software)
- Good understanding of UK employment law and HR fundamentals
- Some exposure to employee relations cases (with guidance)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships with stakeholders
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday, HiBob, BambooHR)
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards)
