Industrial Placement (2026-2027) – Vehicle Performance – Jaguar TCS Racing
Join Jaguar TCS Racing as an Industrial Placement student in the Vehicle Performance team. Our reputation for performance, technology, and design was forged within the world\’s most challenging circuits and championships.
We design, develop, and manufacture the Jaguar Formula E racing car and run it in the FIA Formula E World Championship. We were world champions in 2024, thanks to the knowledge, talent, and commitment of our people.
Our 12-month student placement programme (September 2026 – August 2027) offers an exciting opportunity to work with highly skilled and experienced engineering professionals and graduates. Many of our industrial placements have been successful in obtaining graduate roles on completion of their degree.
During the placement, you will take on responsibilities such as:
- Analysis of car, rig, simulator, and model data to unlock performance potential in current and future cars
- Analysis of race data whilst working with the strategists to maximise our decision-making and find the optimal strategies for the races
- Supporting the race team at the track as part of the Ops Room (mission control)
- Developing software tools and models to make processes and analysis more automatic
- Contributing towards our pre-event and post-event analyses of car, tyre, systems, and strategy performance
