As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll operations across both monthly and weekly UK payrolls, supporting approximately 30,000 employees. You’ll work collaboratively with a dedicated payroll team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting wider business projects. Reporting to the Payroll Operations Supervisor, you will ensure full compliance with UK legislation and JLR policies, while helping to drive process efficiencies and support the organisation’s strategic goals.

- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls, including BACS and RTI submissions, manual calculations, pensions, PAYE, and Early Year Updates
- Demonstrating full end‑to‑end payroll knowledge, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current and future legislation
- Delivering accurate payroll for complex terms, conditions, shift patterns, salary sacrifice schemes, court orders, and attachments of earnings
- Managing all year‑end requirements and maintaining clear, informative communication with stakeholders
- Handling pay‑related queries, producing and maintaining documented payroll procedures, and supporting continuous improvement plans
- Providing excellent customer service, building strong stakeholder relationships, and supporting the Payroll Alignment Strategy and set objectives
- Training and supporting colleagues and new starters, contributing to a collaborative and high‑performing payroll team
What You’ll Need

- Proven experience working in a large, multi‑site payroll operation, supported by an excellent understanding of UK payroll legislation

- Working towards a payroll qualification and knowledge of Resource Link would be an advantage
