We are seeking a highly skilled GME Logistics Lead Solution and Implementation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions that drive logistics excellence across our global operations. In this role, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for implemented solutions, ensuring they continue to deliver best-in-class performance. A key focus of this position is the development and use of data-driven insights to inform decisions and identify opportunities for operational improvement. You will analyse host-system data, build meaningful metrics, and create clear, actionable visualisations that highlight trends, inefficiencies, and enhancements across both manual and automated logistics environments. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across material flow, planning, and logistics operations, using the insights you generate to influence decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Your work will ensure that our logistics systems and solutions consistently perform at the highest industry standard.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Leverage operational and system expertise to identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
- Develop data insights from the ground up, analysing key trends to highlight and drive systemic enhancements.
- Maintain and continuously improve a suite of automated reports and performance metrics for deployed solutions.
- Partner with vendors to embed robust reporting metrics and performance monitoring capabilities into core solutions as part of the implementation process.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to translate data-driven insights into successful, measurable improvements.
- Conduct periodic audits of automation facilities and operational processes to ensure full alignment with design intent and best practice standards.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Experience within Supply Chain, Logistics environments and with logistics automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of the operational requirements needed to run automated logistics systems effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Ability to develop Tableau reports, using SQL and SAP to extract and manipulate cloud-based data.
