As a Welding Technician at JLR, you will ensure the efficient operation of automated welding stations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining high machine availability. This role will be required to work a three‑shift pattern consisting of nights, afternoons, and mornings.
What to expect:
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on welding equipment to required standards, ensuring accurate documentation for compliance and traceability.
- Maintain high machine uptime by monitoring equipment performance and proactively preventing breakdowns.
- Diagnose and resolve welding and technical issues impacting downtime or weld quality, working closely with engineering and production teams.
- Ensure all welds meet specified quality standards and customer requirements, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to strict health & safety and compliance requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in welding processes and automated welding systems.
