In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. You will be working alongside incredible technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to shape a future we truly believe in, together. Use your expertise, cutting-edge technology, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient, sustainable and high-quality production.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Create and maintain the material flow vision and strategy, lead the planning team to deliver projects to achieve strategy.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Developing the material flow strategy that affects production, distribution, and inventory specific to area of responsibility.
- Implementing material flow solutions and projects to deliver agreed strategy and improved efficiency, safety and performance.
- Collaborating with wider teams to ensure development of integrated material flow solutions.
- Building and managing budget and cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models.
- Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Previous experience in Logistic Operations.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Good analytical skills and statistical ability.
- Experience or knowledge of project management and process improvement.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
