Working in Manufacturing at JLR, you'll be the hands-on expert who brings innovation to life. You'll collaborate with a team of expert technicians and problem-solvers and use cutting-edge tools, facilities, and processes engineered together to build era-defining vehicles that people across the world know and love. This role will give you exposure to a wide range of logistics strategy and installation projects. You will provide technical logistics support and solutions for the EPMC and BAC assembly plants. This will involve the review of existing legacy and new logistics solutions, including the identification and development of business cases for improvement activities. You will support the launch of logistics systems and facilities installation and handover, that are delivered to meet uptime, safety and quality performance requirements.

What to Expect

  • Deliver logistics automation and facility programmes from design phase through to installation
  • Support commissioning and testing in line with Vistag and Autostatus
  • Coordinate facility handover process to Maintenance and Operations Teams
  • Define and specify non automated facility requirements
  • Support execution phases of fit out activities

What You’ll Need

  • Experience of data analysis, the production of relevant reports and metrics.
  • Ability to present solutions for facilities related issues.
  • Practical approach to Problem Solving
  • Experience in external contractor management (collaborating with and overseeing site installations).
