We’re looking for a Senior Software Integration & Test Engineer to take a leading role in driving forward our work within ADAS Infotainment Visualisation HMI. This is a unique opportunity to join a team focused on delivering advanced in‑vehicle experiences, including features such as Surround Reality visualisation and intuitive, real‑time representations of the vehicle’s environment on screen. You’ll define and execute integration and testing strategies for Autonomous and Assisted Driving HMI features, ensuring software from multiple third‑party suppliers performs seamlessly within the wider system. Collaborating closely with architects, developers, and cross‑functional teams across JLR, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality, robust solutions while supporting both new feature development and ongoing enhancements.

WHAT TO EXPECT
In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high‑quality outcomes and supporting the wider team through a range of responsibilities, including:
- Analysing sub‑system requirements to define clear, structured software test cases, plans, and execution strategies
- Create and execute detailed test cases and plans using standard JLR tools such as Xray and CIARA
- Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to support increasingly complex HMI features
- Carry out Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SiL) testing, applying the most appropriate methods for each requirement
- Ensure all activities align with JLR standards and industry best practice for software testing and engineering
- Track and manage testing progress to ensure timely delivery against key programme milestones
- Define and manage software integration and release processes into target ECUs, providing clear testing evidence and performance KPIs
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a solid background, relevant certifications, and the following key skills:
- Experience in software testing with a solid understanding of HiL and SiL testing methods
- Proven background in industry‑standard HiL/SiL, including fault injection and functional testing approaches
- Proficiency with test management tools such as Xray and requirements traceability tools (e.g. TRM or equivalent)
- Experience defining and maintaining effective test automation strategies and frameworks
- Good understanding of the defect lifecycle, including triage, tracking, and resolution management
- Ability to lead or support teams while ensuring adherence to test processes and quality standards
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with experience collaborating across cross‑functional Agile environments
